Lush Collection

Hi everyone! I posted a new video on my channel, and I’m super happy with this one because I feel like I’m finally getting comfortable in front of a camera, and comfortable with sharing my interests. This new video is about my Lush Collection so check it out right here!

I also wanted to talk about something that is really cool.

If you didn’t know, Lush is a cosmetic company. They have everything from beauty products (like hair henna and lip tints) to bath products (everything smells SO GOOD). I love Lush because their products are mostly all natural, and they use different techniques to help the environment. I love this because I have sensitive skin and using all natural products helps my breakouts a lot.

My favorite part about Lush is that they fight against animal testing. I love animals and I love that by purchasing Lush products I can contribute to a great cause. Discovery Channel’s Shark Week partnered with Lush Cosmetics to bring shark slaughtering to attention. It caught my attention right away, and I signed the petition to help.

Here is the info to sign the petition and go #FinFree!

And here is Lush’s page:….

Summer Nails 2014

So, let’s jump right in. I love nail polish. I had a whole phase in middle school where I painted my nails a different color every day… I was obsessed. I still love looking at the new popular nail colors every season, and I have made a video about my favorite colors for this summer!

I hope you guys like my YouTube channel!

All the nail polishes I used are listed in the video, but I wanted to share a few of my favorite sets here.

This blue color makes me so happy. The gold accents on the rings along with the neon colors make it perfect for summer. It’s electric and fun, which is what summer is all about, right?

The red – orange color is nice for summer because it’s not as harsh as a true red. My bracelet is from Colombia and I absolutely adore it. These colors combined make me want to dance!

This yellow neon color didn’t quite come out how bright it actually is, but it’s pretty neon! It took me forever to find a neon green/yellow color, and I still want to get a better quality one… I am all about this color though. The lightning bolt ring makes it double electric. I love it!

Hope you enjoyed! Check out my video for all the brands! What are your favorite nail colors for summer?

Dagger Nails

There’s been a new trend happening lately with nails. I haven’t decided if I like it yet, but it’s definitely catching on with people. Nails that are super pointy at the end. They seem kind of dangerous and not useful but oh well it’s a trend. It started with Lana Del Rey and now Kendall and Kylie Jenner have been doing it. These nails look really cool, but I don’t think I would ever be able to do this to my nails.

What do you think?

Happy Halloween!!! I just passed out candy to kids, and it was so fun. I wanted to show you guys my costume! I’m a kitty, and yes, my hair is blonde at the end now. Here’s my costume:

For my makeup, I did a cat-eye with liquid liner, black eyeshadow, purple lipstick, and a nose and whiskers with my cream liner. It was so cold and rainy! (Thanks a lot Sandy) but I had fun! Hope you have fun too!

Sephora Buys

I recently went to sephora and bought some makeup that I have been dying to get all year. I can’t really afford a lot from there but I wanted to share what I did get.

I bought Rosebud Salve lip balm, blue sephora eyeshadow (Suzy Bishop-esque) and dark purple lipstick. This is what my lipstick looks like:

I really like it! It’s very halloween-ish to me. I want black lipstick, but I’m a little too afraid to go for it, so I went with this color instead. What do you think?

DIY: Dip Dye Hair

I’m so excited right now because I just dyed my hair! I have never done it before, and I dyed the ends “dip-dye” style at home. I wanted to share a little how-to so if any of you want to try, you can!

First, here’s what you need:
Towel and tshirt you don’t care about
Creme developer (I used Salon Care 20 volume)
Powder lightener (I used PrismLites)
Color dye of your choice
An applicator or comb
Plastic bowl

Step 1: section your hair to the length you want it

Step 2: mix 1 packet of the powder with 2 ounces of the creme developer, mix until it’s like icing. Wear your gloves!

Step 3: spread the mixture through hair, making sure to cover inside and out, then wrap up in grocery bag and set it for 40 minutes (or as long as the directions on your bleach say)

Step 4: rinse out the bleach with warm water, and condition. Let it completely dry. It should look like this, or lighter.

Step 5: put color in, covering the blonde area. It’s ok if you get some on the not bleached parts, it won’t hold the color if your hair is dark. Wrap up in bag and wait as long as your dye directions say.

Step 6: rinse out and put more conditioner in. This is how mine turned out!

Also, if you can, get someone to help you. It’s a lot easier if you do. Thanks to my lovely father who helped me!

Hope this helped! If you have any questions, comment below!

Fall For Smokey Eyes

This whole “smokey eye” thing has been around for a very, very long time, but I personally have never attempted it. I don’t know why, maybe because of I’m afraid it will look bad on me, or maybe it’s because of my age. I’m definitely feeling older- well I am older, but I think it’s time I started trying it out. I have the Urban Decay Naked pallet, (thank you sister) and it is great for pulling off any look by blending the colors. Also, since autumn is fast approaching, it’s the perfect time to start incorporating darker colors into your makeup routine.

All of these styles are great ideas for fall.

Here is my attempt at a mostly formal smokey eye:
