Over-all of it

I think I have always been afraid of wearing overalls. They either looked too country, too 90’s, (the bad side of the 90’s) or just not my style. I never thought I could pull them off! BUT things have changed. I was looking online, and all of a sudden I saw overalls in a new light. I don’t know what changed, but now I’m all, I could wear them with the right styling! They can fit into my wardrobe! Luckily, my sister found these for me and now I’m in love. I think my message as a blogger is that anyone can wear what they want as long as they wear it with confidence. And I definitely need confidence to pull off wearing overalls!

These are Mossimo, so they were pretty inexpensive! I paired them with a Forever 21 t-shirt and shoes. I love the detail of the collar and sleeves because it makes it not just a basic tee.

What do you think of denim overalls?

Thrift Shopping

I haven’t actually blogged in forever. I know, it’s horrible – but I’ve been doing a lot of other good, productive things. Mostly I’m working on YouTube, and I’m loving it. I want to use this as my outlet for writing about fashion, and mentioning topics that are on my channel.

So this week I went thrift shopping. It was sort of a challenge for myself, I wanted to see if I could create cute outfits based off of thrifted pieces. I would consider it a success! The Goodwill I went to is amazing. It had so much stuff!

So here is what I ended up buying:

This blazer is a few sizes too big, and it had ridiculous shoulder pads, but I cut those out and am wearing it as an oversized, slouchy look with a romper.

The jumpsuit was thrifted, and I put it together with some clothes I already had to create a night out look. I felt very Miami.

This sweater is so comfortable! I threw it on with some skinny jeans and it looks way more expensive than the actual price.

This dress was only about $3, and it fits perfectly! I paired it with a shirt for a more grunge effect. I can’t wait to wear it in the summer too.

Hopefully this will inspire you to check out more thrift stores! Sometimes the best pieces are found there.

The Coolest Girl Ever: Bip Ling

Bip Ling is a british television presenter, DJ, model, and fashion blogger. She is all kinds of awesome. Her blog is very cute and fun, and her style is so unique and perfect!

Also her hair is gorgeous!!! Her style is a lot like mine. Or rather, what I wish it could be. This year I really want to dress how I want to dress, and not care what anybody thinks. Blogging is really helping me with finding my personal style. Bip Ling has her personal style. What’s yours?

On a day to day basis, I usually wear my hair down. Although, when I don’t feel like washing my hair, (I have those days a lot) or when I have ballet, I wear it up. It has been a constant struggle to find cute ways to wear my hair in a ponytail, and I always just end up pulling it back nonchalantly. Here are some cute ways to wear it in a ponytail when you are feeling blah. I used Ariana Grande in all the pictures, because she has literally done every style of ponytail there is, and I love her.

Just back-comb your hair for body, hairspray, and pull up. It looks cute!

This can help you look really put together. It’s a classy look.

For this one you would think that you, um duh, need to have bangs, but a lot of beauty supply stores have clip in bangs you can wear for one day, or every day!

To wear this one it’s totally up to you. Sometimes I do french braid, sometimes I don’t. It looks cute either way.

Slicked Back

This one is so easy and classic. It goes with anything.

With any headband you want, it can really complete an outfit.

What’s your favorite?
